Campaign for Comprehensive Immigration Reform. The current United States immigration system is broken and unequal. NWFCO and our affiliates are fighting for reform that will remove barriers to permanent residence and family reunification, protect all workers, and respect the civil and human rights of all. Campaign for Access to Higher Education. Each year, thousands of students graduating high school are denied a chance to go to college - only because of their immigration status. The DREAM Act (S. 1545) and the Student Adjustment Act (H.R. 1684) will remove barriers to legal status and education for many immigrant youth. [DREAM Act]
Campaign for a Path to Citizenship for Farmworkers. Over half of our country´s farmworkers are denied an opportunity to become U.S. permanent residents and citizens. The AgJOBS bill (S. 1645) will provide thousands of farmworkers a chance to become citizens. [AgJOBS]
Campaign for Access to Driver´s Licenses. Driving is necessary to survival in rural states like Idaho. Yet Idaho denies thousands of immigrants a chance to apply for a driver´s license. NWFCO and the Idaho Community Action Network are organizing for a just solution. [Driver's Licenses]
