OREGON ACTION REMOVES BARRIERS TO THE STATE'S FOOD STAMP PROGRAM In 2001, Oregon Action embarked on a statewide campaign to ease enrollment barriers to food stamp. They successfully drew attention to Oregon's status as the hungriest state in the union and broke down barriers to eligibility, resulting in a dramatic increase in participation by eligible families. |
